Urban Land Institute Conference Focuses on Popularity of Florida Real Estate Along the Treasure Coast
The Urban Land Institute’s fourth annual conference on Florida real estate development trends along the Treasure Coast attracted 400 attendees, “up from about 240 attendees at last year’s conference. Increased interest in the conference shows that developers, planners, builders and brokers all believe that Treasure Coast Florida real estate offers a lot of business opportunities.
The conference covered topics such as “balancing environmental and economic needs” and “building projects communities will support,” but the two major themes were regionalism and “encouraging governments and developers to work together.”
It’s no secret that government officials are overwhelmed by the rate at which Florida real estate is being developed. They “can’t keep pace with permit requests and infrastructure demands.” As a result, the amount of Florida real estate being built along the Treasure Coast “has dropped off in the past year.”
