Florida Homes Top the Forbes List
Florida is an excellent place to live. The state offers sun, beaches, beautiful natural habitats and a touch of glamour. Maybe that is why so many millionaires choose to invest in Florida homes.
Florida is awash in gorgeous estates that afford their owners every luxury available. According to Forbes Magazine, theres no shortage of $20 million Florida homes, but more amazingly, "there seems to be no shortage of buyers."
Therefore, it comes as no surprise that the top ten houses on Forbes´ 2004 list of the Most Expensive Homes in the South are all located in Florida. Two are in Miami, including the number one house, which had an asking price of $50 million. Three of the Florida homes that made it into the top ten are located in Palm Beach, making it the area with the most multi-million dollar homes on the list. Other cities that appeared on the list thanks to their very pricey, very luxurious Florida homes were North Palm Beach (#2), Manalapan Beach (#3), Vero Beach (#4) and Indian Creek (#8).
